Staff — Michael Fagans

Michael Fagans

Michael simply likes to tell people's stories. His interest in people has taken him to the Navajo Nation, Malawi, India and Afghanistan.

Michael Fagans is now currently the Assistant Photo Editor at The Bakersfield Californian; focusing on multimedia, video and web projects for the photo staff.

Before arriving at The Californian Michael worked as presentation coordinator and as a staff photographer at The Watertown (N.Y.) Daily Times, and was a staff photographer at The Gallup Independent in New Mexico.

Michael is married to the Rev. Deborah DeBoer. They live in Bakersfield with their two cats.
