Amanda Villatoro plays with her son, Ramon A. Villatoro III, on Jan. 18. Her husband, the boy's father, died at age 19 in Iraq on July 24, 2005. Army Pfc. Ramon Villatoro Jr. and Amanda Villatoro were high school sweethearts and married for just seven months when he died.
